1. Title of Dataset: characteristics_of_particles

Data were collected in the Laboratory of Hydrodynamic Micromodels, Institute of Geophysica, Polish Academy of Sciences
Dataset contains diameters of porous particles evaluated using image analysis applied to images obrained with 
a camera with macro lenses with an accuracy of 0.01 mm.

3. Data specific information:
Each folder contains two columns: 1st column is number of experimental run, second column is diameter (mm).

Average density of porous spheres was measured using a microbalance and is equal to 1323.4 kg m-3 and
porosity assessed usign dry weight of particles is equal to 0.979. 

Polystytene non-porous particles were of density 1050 kg m-3, and diameter of 1,042 mm +- 0.01 mm.
