ERT Fuglebekken 2024

The dataset comprises three Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) profiles, each with an electrode spacing of 5 meters. Each profile was measured using two different survey configurations: dipole-dipole and gradient-XL. The profiles are labelled and described as follows: Meteo - This profile starts near the meteorological garden of the Polish Polar Station and ends at the coast. The total length of this profile is 345 meters. Hor3 - This profile begins at the coast of a fjord and is aligned through a line connecting four boreholes named "Lisek," "Gęś," "Brzuchrzeska," and "Renifer," and ends at the slope of Fugleberget. The length of this profile is 1000 meters. *Hor22 - This profile, repeated after 10 years, crosses the moraines of the Hans Glacier. It starts from the Fuglebekken catchment and extends to the dead front of the glacier. The length of this profile is 1700 meters.

The purpose of these surveys was to determine the depth of permafrost in the catchment area and the presence of ice cores within the moraines.
