FDEM profiles Fuglebekken 2024

This dataset contains files of conductivity surveys conducted along two profiles, labelled Meteo and Fugle. These measurements were performed in several cycles in 2024. The profiles are described as follows:

Meteo Profile:

This profile starts near the meteorological garden of the Polish Polar Station and ends at the coast. It is longer than the ERT profile and includes a section where the boreholes "Brzydal" and "Lola" are located. The total length of this profile is close to 500 meters.

Fugle Profile:

This profile begins at the coast of a fjord and is aligned through a line connecting four boreholes named "Lisek," "Gęś," "Brzuchrzeska," and "Renifer," and ends at the slope of Fugleberget. The length of this profile is more than 1000 meters and is similar to HOR3 in ERT. These studies were conducted to determine the depth of ground freezing and the water relations in the Fuglebekken catchment.
