The dataset contains 2639 maps of ice type distribution in Hornsund fjord at 50 m resolution for the period of 2012-01-02 to 2023-06-29.
The maps are based on binary maps available in the PANGAEA repository [1, 2]. For binary mapping see [3].
The pixel values of the ice type maps indicate: 0 = open water, 1 = drift ice, 2 = fast ice, 3 = glacier ice, 7 = uncertain, 8 = masked, 9 = landmask.
