Supporting data for: Diurnal, seasonal and annual variations of fair weather atmospheric potential gradient, and effects of reduced number concentration of condensation nuclei on PG and air conductivity from long term atmospheric electricity measurements at Swider, Poland, DOI:10.5194/angeo-2024-1

This dataset contains supporting atmospheric electricity data for the publication by Pawlak et al. 2025, doi:10.5194/angeo-2024-1. The collection includes three sets of atmospheric electric data from the Stanisław Kalinowski Geophysical Observatory in Świder, Poland, in the three time periods: 1957-1964, 1965-2005 and 2005-2015. The datasets include fair weather atmospheric electric data: 1-hour average mean values of ground-level atmospheric electric field (or potential gradient, PG) in V/m, positive or negative electrical conductivity, PC or NC, in 0.1 fS/m, and condensation nuclei number concentrations, CN, in particle count per cubic centimetre, measured three times a day about 6 UTC, 12 UTC, 18 UTC. The data are processed from wider datasets listed below as external resources. Assignment of values to months (MONTH) and UTC hours (UTC_HOUR) allows calculation of diurnal, seasonal and annual variations. More details about the data and measurements can be obtained from the associated paper. In particular, different fair wethaer criteria were used before 1965.
